This article will show an example of setting up synchronization of the clock of a mobile device with an NTP server.

Unfortunately, at the moment, without super user rights, there is no way to automatically set the clock, you have to do it manually.

Also because of this limitation, the accuracy is very low.

The demonstration is made on the device “LG G2 mini (D618)”

Finding an icon “Приложения” at the bottom of the screen

A list of installed programs opens

Scroll until we find “Play Маркет”

After the market is found, launch it

In the store program that opens, go to the section “Приложения”

In block “Приложения”

Click the icon “лупы” and do a search

Enter the name of the program “Clock sync”

Select the first item found

We press the button “Установить”

We allow the program to receive data about our location by pressing a button “Принять”

The installation process will follow.

After the program is installed, it will be possible to “открыть” или “удалить”

We press the button “Открыть”

We will see a window with a description of the changes in the new version.

We press the button “Закрыть”

Next, the program shows the local time and the exact

In the upper right part of the program, click on the icon “three points”

In the menu that appears, click “Настройки”

In the settings you need to specify our time server

Choose an item “NTP сервер”

In the field that appears, erase what is there

and specify one of our servers

We turn off automatic synchronization, since this function does not work without a super user

In addition, we turn on “Без root”

As a result, the settings will look like this

After completing the program settings, go to the main section

Select the three dots icon again

Click “Синхронизировать”

A transparent notification area will appear at the bottom of the screen, which indicates the exact time and deviation from the norm.

Time settings will open automatically

Uncheck the boxes for automatic time setting

Select “Уст. время”

Enter the correct time

Wait until the exact time reaches the specified position and press “ОК”

On some devices, for higher accuracy, you need to uncheck the box in the settings “Обнулять секунды”
